Thomas got some extra playing time with Ja'Marr Chase (hip) missing the contest due to injury. He didn't capitalize on the chance, dropping his lone target on what would have been a first down. Thomas will not be a recommended fantasy option in Week 9 against Carolina.

Thomas got some extra playing time with Tee Higgins not playing after halftime due to an ankle injury. If Higgins were to miss Week 6's matchup against the Saints, look for Thomas to occupy his role on the outside in the Cincy offense.
