Minnesota Vikings D/ST comes alive in second half

Minnesota Vikings D/ST recorded two sacks and an interception in the Vikings’ 27-23 comeback win over the Broncos on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

The defense gave up 20 points in the first half but came alive in the second half to only allow three in the comeback victory. Minnesota's D/ST has been up-and-down all year and will take a Week 12 bye before facing the Seahawks in Week 13.

Minnesota Vikings D/ST records one interception, one sack vs. Cowboys

The Minnesota Vikings D/ST recorded one sack and one interception against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Impact

The Vikings defense was terrific down the stretch, and bottled up Ezekiel Elliott all night, but those accomplishments do not show up on the fantasy stat sheet. They allowed 24 points to the Cowboys and their limited counting stats kept them to just three fantasy points, one of the lowest outputs of the week for any D/ST. The Vikings have a plus matchup in Week 11 against a Denver Broncos team that will likely be starting Brandon Allen.

Minnesota Vikings D/ST racks up five sacks in loss

Minnesota Vikings D/ST finished with five sacks and a fumble recovery while allowing 26 points in the Vikings’ 26-23 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

It was a tough loss for the Vikings, but the defense managed to provide a solid fantasy line nonetheless. Things only get more difficult in a Week 10 showdown with Dallas in Jerry's World.

Minnesota Vikings D/ST forces two turnovers, holds 'Skins to nine points

Minnesota Vikings D/ST produced four sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery in the Vikings' 19-9 win over the Redskins on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

It was a big night for Minnesota's defense, though the performance should be taken with a grain of salt, as it came against the lowly Redskins. Weeks 8 and 9 have two tough matchups on tap in the Chiefs and Cowboys, though Kansas City will likely be without Patrick Mahomes, making the Vikings' D/ST an intriguing option for that matchup.

Minnesota Vikings D/ST records two sacks, one interception in Week 7

The Minnesota Vikings D/ST allowed a season-high 30 points to the Detroit Lions in Week 7.

Fantasy Impact

While the Vikings managed two sacks, and an interception against Detroit in Week 7, the 30 points allowed kept their fantasy output to just three points. The Vikings D/ST will look to bounce back in a major way against a Case Keenum led Washington offense in Week 8. They are worth an extended look for single game DFS contests.
