Myles Gaskin (ankle) doubtful for Week 17

Miami Dolphins running back Myles Gaskin is unlikely to play in Week 17 against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Gaskin took over lead back duties in Week 17, but was unable to finish the game due to an ankle injury. Head coach Brian Flores said that while Gaskin would say that he is ready to play Sunday, that he 'probably won't. He looked like the most talented back on the Dolphins roster, but due to the high probability of the Dolphins adding a major talent at the position, he will likely be utilized as a depth piece in 2020.

Myles Gaskin gets lead back treatment in OT win

Myles Gaskin rushed 16 times for 55 yards and a touchdown and caught one of his three targets for three yards in the Dolphins' Week 16 overtime win over the Bengals.

Fantasy Impact

Gaskin assumed the number one running back seat in this game, usurping Patrick Laird with double the amount of carries. Gaskin, like all other Miami backs this season, was inefficient on the ground, but capitalized with a touchdown in the shootout. Gaskin will be tough to use next week against the Patriots in what could be a tough offensive outing for the Dolphins.

Myles Gaskin leads Fins backfield in Week 15

Myles Gaskin rushed nine times for 43 yards and caught two of his three targets for 29 yards in the Dolphins' Week 15 loss to the Giants.

Fantasy Impact

Gaskin was just on the wrong side of the committe in terms of touches, but topped Patrick Laird in total yardage. This backfield is going to be risky for Week 16, but the matchup is juicy against the Bengals. A committee seems most likely.

Myles Gaskin quiet in loss to Jets

Myles Gaskin rushed four times for five yards and caught one of his two targets for six yards in the Dolphins' Week 14 loss to the Jets.

Fantasy Impact

Gaskin is clearly a distant second to Patrick Laird at this point in time and has no fantasy appeal for the playoff stretch run.

Myles Gaskin solid in preseason finale

Myles Gaskin rushed eight times for 48 yards and caught both of his targets for 17 yards in the Dolphins' preseason win over the Saints.

Fantasy Impact

Gaskin will struggle to get playing time in 2019, but is an intriguing prospect and has ability in the passing game. He could surface down the line, but is nothing more than a dynasty stash for now.
