Nate Adkins and the Broncos have agreed on a one-year contract extension to keep the blocking tight end in Denver for another season.

Not long after re-signing Adam Trautman, the Broncos locked up another of their tight ends with Adkins signing a one-year extension. The tight end, who will be entering his fourth NFL season in 2026, caught six passes for 48 yards and a touchdown in nine games, while playing 33% of Denver's offensive snaps, last season. Known much more for his blocking, Adkins has just 24 career catches in 36 NFL games. He'll be off the fantasy radar in 2026.

Adkins was sidelined for another practice on Thursday as he continues to deal with a knee injury of some kind. It looks like it may leave him sidelined in Week 9, but even if that's the case, fantasy managers shouldn't put much weight into his absence against the Texans.
