Nate Adkins and the Broncos have agreed on a one-year contract extension to keep the blocking tight end in Denver for another season.
Fantasy Impact
Not long after re-signing Adam Trautman, the Broncos locked up another of their tight ends with Adkins signing a one-year extension. The tight end, who will be entering his fourth NFL season in 2026, caught six passes for 48 yards and a touchdown in nine games, while playing 33% of Denver's offensive snaps, last season. Known much more for his blocking, Adkins has just 24 career catches in 36 NFL games. He'll be off the fantasy radar in 2026.
Nate Adkins (knee) was sidelined at Denver's practice on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Adkins was sidelined for another practice on Thursday as he continues to deal with a knee injury of some kind. It looks like it may leave him sidelined in Week 9, but even if that's the case, fantasy managers shouldn't put much weight into his absence against the Texans.
Nate Adkins did not practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Adkins came out of last week's game with the knee injury. He seems unlikely to play in Week 9.
Nate Adkins caught both of his targets for 23 yards and one touchdown in the Broncos' 13-11 win over the Jets in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact
Adkins has been minimally involved in the Denver passing offense to this point, finishing with three targets or less in each of his four games. The tight end cannot be trusted in any format ahead of a Week 7 contest against the New York Giants.
Nate Adkins failed to catch his only target in the Broncos' 21-17 win over the Eagles in Week 5.
Fantasy Impact
Adkins has been minimally involved in the Denver offense, recording three targets or less in each of his three games for the Broncos. The tight end can be left off rosters in all formats ahead of a Week 6 contest against the New York Jets.
