San Franciso 49ers star DE Nick Bosa has been placed on season-ending IR with a torn ACL.
Bosa is a true difference-maker on the 49ers' defensive front, and his production cannot be replaced. San Francisco's D/ST has had a rash of significant injuries during the first couple of weeks of the season and may not be the defense most fantasy owners were hoping for when they picked them early in drafts.
DE Nick Bosa officially suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during Sunday’s game against the Jets.
Bosa was carted off in Sunday’s contest and the MRI results confirmed a torn ACL. This is a big blow to the 49ers defense as the unit has been hit with a rash of injuries lately. Bosa will rehab and is expected to return for the 2021 campaign. Look for newly signed Ezekiel Ansah to replace Bosa as the 49ers starting LE.
