Nick Folk went 2-for-3 on extra points and also made his lone field goal during Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins.
All of a sudden, Folk has looked uncharacteristically shaky, missing two field goals and one extra point over his last two games. The veteran is normally reliable, and the reason for his recent struggles could be as simple as weather or bad luck. He should still be started in most leagues as he takes on the Bills next weekend.
Nick Folk struggled against the Bengals in Week 16, going 0-for-2 on extra points. He did not attempt a field goal.
The windy conditions in New England made it tricky for kickers. Cincinnati's Evan McPherson went 1-for-2 on field goals and 1-for-2 on extra points. (He missed a second extra point, but the miss was nullified due to a New England penalty.) Ultimately, there is clear evidence that Folk struggled due to weather rather than a lack of talent. Assuming the weather improves, he will return to being a top-five option against the Bills in Week 17.
Nick Folk went 3-for-3 on field goals and also made his lone extra-point attempt during the Patriots' Week 15 loss to the Raiders.
Folk connected from 24, 47, and 54 yards out. He continues to assert himself as one of the most reliable and productive kickers in the NFL. The veteran remains a top-five option heading into Week 16 versus the Bengals.
Nick Folk converted on all five of his kicks Monday in a win over the Cardinals.
Folk connected on all three of his extra point attempts and field goals from 23 and 51 yards. The 38-year-old continues to produce when called upon by the Patriots. Folk and the Patriots will take on the Raiders in Week 15.
Nick Folk went 1-for-1 on extra points and 1-for-2 on field goals during Thursday's loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Folk connected from 39 yards out, but he came up surprisingly short on a 48-yard attempt at the end of the first half. It was quite uncharacteristic considering Folk has a powerful, accurate leg and the weather in Foxborough was quite calm. He should bounce back against the Cardinals next Monday.
