Ollie Gordon III ran nine times for nine yards and caught his only target for two yards in the Dolphins 38-10 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Gordon is was second in the Miami backfield in touches, but failed to make much of them. He has a shot at being the RB2 in Miami in 2026, but after he tailed off to end the 2025 season one has to wonder if that will be the case or not.

A week after scoring his third rushing touchdown of the season in a blowout win over the Jets, Gordon was only on the field for six offensive snaps Monday night. For fantasy purposes, the rookie out of Oklahoma State is solely a handcuff to De'Von Achane.

Gordon II has made the most of minimal involvement out of the Miami backfield, reaching the end zone in two of his last three games despite rushing for less than 50 yards in each of those contests. The running back remains difficult to trust with De'Von Achane healthy, with a Week 15 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers up next.

Gordon was quiet in the close loss while De'Von Achane dominated the backfield, handling 22 carries. Gordon remains a solid handcuff to Achane in fantasy but he has little standalone value. He will face the Jets in Week 14.
