Patrick DiMarco

The Bills released FB Patrick DiMarco from injured reserve with an injury settlement.

Fantasy Impact

DiMarco sustained a neck injury and was placed on the injured reserve last Friday. He hasn’t missed a contest since 2013. It is unclear if DiMarco will be cleared or play again in his career. DiMarco is a strong specials teams player as well, if cleared the FB should be able to latch onto another team during the season.

Patrick DiMarco even got in on the action during Thursday night. DiMarco had one reception on one target for one yard, but it was also for his first TD of the season.

Fantasy Impact

Patrick DiMarco is not a fantasy start by any means, but the fact that he even got in on the action means good things are happening in the Atlanta offense and especially for Matt Ryan.

Patrick DiMarco is a big fullback at 6'1'' 234lbs. An undrafted free agent, DiMarco played five games with the Chiefs last season.

DiMarco's fantasy value comes through what he can provide with his size and ability. As a road paver it may spell additional success for Atlanta's committee of running backs: Steven Jackson, Jacquizz Rodgers, Antone Smith, and Devonte Freeman.
