Peter Skoronski (illness) has been ruled out by the Tennessee Titans ahead of their Week 2 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday.

With Skoronski sidelined, head coach Mike Vrabel will be forced to split reps between backups Xavier Newman and Dillon Radunz against a Chargers defense that is coming off a terrible performance in a Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Tennessee Titans have selected Northwestern offensive lineman Peter Skoronski with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Fantasy Impact

Skoronski brings some size concerns, specifically with his arm length, that may make him a guard at the NFL level, but he's such a talented offensive lineman he may be able to play tackle as well. The Titans moved on from long-time starter Taylor Lewan this offseason. Skoronski joins Dillon Radunz and Nicolas Petite-Frere on an OL that's getting increasingly younger. Regardless, it makes sense for a run-focused team to prioritize the trenches.
