Peter Skoronski has agreed to a four-year, $100 million contract extension with the Tennessee Titans according to Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact
Skoronski’s extension includes $88 million in guarantees while also making the former first-round pick the highest paid guard in the NFL as a key protector of quarterback Cam Ward and a developing Tennessee offense under new head coach Robert Saleh.
The Titans picked up the fifth-year option of OL Peter Skoronski.
Fantasy Impact
Skoronski will remain under contract with the Titans through the 2027 season. He is a candidate to reach an extension with Tennessee.
The Titans plan to exercise their fifth-year option on OL Peter Skoronski.
Fantasy Impact
Skoronski and Tennessee were unable to reach an agreement on an extension. It is still possible they reach an agreement later on after his performance took a step forward last season.
Peter Skoronski (illness) has been ruled out by the Tennessee Titans ahead of their Week 2 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
With Skoronski sidelined, head coach Mike Vrabel will be forced to split reps between backups Xavier Newman and Dillon Radunz against a Chargers defense that is coming off a terrible performance in a Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
The Tennessee Titans have selected Northwestern offensive lineman Peter Skoronski with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact
Skoronski brings some size concerns, specifically with his arm length, that may make him a guard at the NFL level, but he's such a talented offensive lineman he may be able to play tackle as well. The Titans moved on from long-time starter Taylor Lewan this offseason. Skoronski joins Dillon Radunz and Nicolas Petite-Frere on an OL that's getting increasingly younger. Regardless, it makes sense for a run-focused team to prioritize the trenches.
