Quinn Ewers
QB - Miami Dolphins
This Week Outlook
Availability
Quinn Ewers completed 16-of-23 passes for 137 yards with a touchdown and a pick in the Dolphins’ 41-10 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. He also ran once for nine yards.
Fantasy Impact
Ewers wasn’t fantastic in this game, but his accuracy and production wasn’t bad considering he was down most of his top targets against a Pats team playing their starters. Ewers likely is not the answer for Miami in 2026, so expect the team to bring in some competition this offseason.
Quinn Ewers played a clean game during Sunday's victory over Tampa Bay, completing 14 of 22 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns while adding five yards on four rushing attempts. Although he largely operated as a game manager, the rookie signal-caller delivered a pair of scoring strikes, finding Theo Wease for a 63-yard touchdown and Greg Dulcich for an 11-yard score.
Fantasy Impact
Ewers successfully avoided turning the ball over, despite one fumble that was recovered by Miami. Through his first two career starts, he has compiled 485 passing yards with a 65.0 percent completion rate and a 2:2 TD:INT ratio heading into a Week 18 matchup against the Patriots.
Quinn Ewers completed 20-of-30 passing attempts for 260 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's 45-21 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie got a chance to start on Sunday after the team announced the benching of Tua Tagovailoa. He didn't look good in his first game at the helm, throwing two interceptions in a blowout loss to the Bengals. There were some promising signs in there, but there's no reason to expect the Dolphins to be good in the last couple of games if he continues to start for them.
Quinn Ewers will start against Cincinnati on Sunday in the Dolphins Week 16 game. Tua Tagovailoa will go to the bench.
Fantasy Impact
HC Mike McDaniel has had it with Tua, and will give the rookie his shot at manning the offense. De’Von Achane is still a strong start, but the other pieces of the offense, especially the pass catchers, are now questionable starts at best.
Dolphins QB Quinn Ewers is officially inactive for Week 8.
Fantasy Impact
Ewers will return to the inactive list and will serve as the emergency third quarterback against the Falcons. Zach Wilson will serve as the backup quarterback to Tua Tagovailoa in Week 8.
