2023 Outlook
According to Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Rachaad White, there will be a “lot of balls coming [his] way” as he increases his involvement in the team’s passing game.
Fantasy Impact
White was candid during his interview with SiriusXM, saying that he has been working on improving his pass-catching abilities with the goal of being more involved in 2023. He said the Buccaneers plan on using more empty looks going forward, allowing White to line up wide as a receiver more often. Despite only starting eight games in 2023, White caught 50 passes for 290 yards. With the former Arizona State product likely taking over lead-back duties, his involvement as a rusher and catcher could lead him to a strong fantasy season in 2023.
Rachaad White rushed the ball 11 times for 22 yards and caught five passes for 26 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win over the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Impact
White was inefficient on Sunday, totaling only 48 yards despite touching the ball 16 times. He struggled to put up any good numbers for fantasy purposes, but he was slightly bailed out by five caught passes. The rookie has been effective overall this season, and he will be an intriguing option for fantasy drafts for the 2023 season.
Rachaad White rushed the ball seven times for 36 yards and caught four passes for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact
White wasn't featured as heavily on Sunday as he has been in recent weeks, but he was still able to salvage his night for fantasy purposes. He barely totaled over 50 yards, but he found the end zone on a pass from Tom Brady. He doesn't have the same level of trust from the coaching staff that veteran Leonard Fournette does, and we could see them continue to favor him as they come down the stretch on the regular season.
Rachaad White rushed the ball 11 times for 38 yards and caught one pass for five yards in a 34-23 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
White wasn't very productive on Sunday, totaling only 43 yards in a tough loss to the Bengals. He got the most carries on the team, but he was inefficient with them and failed to do much in the passing game. He still splits work with veteran Leonard Fournette, and he remains a fringe flex option with upside season-long.
Rachaad White carried the ball 13 times for 56 yards and caught five passes for 21 yards in Sunday's 35-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Impact
Tampa Bay had a tough day on Sunday, putting up only seven points as a team in a blowout loss to the Niners. White did fairly well with what he was given, but he wasn't put in many scoring opportunities throughout the course of the game. He was the team's clear top back over Leonard Fournette, and he has some decent upside going into the fantasy playoffs.
