Rachaad White

Rachaad White has signed a one-year deal with the Washington Commanders.

Fantasy Impact

The Commanders needed some depth and security at the running back position, an White provides that. He and Commanders QB Jayden Daniels have a history going back to Arizona State, so chemistry is there. For now, White looks to slot in as the Commanders primary receiving back, with 40+ receptions in each of his four NFL seasons to his name. He has some PPR-flex appeal in what should be an offense primed for a rebound.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network mentioned Rachaad White as a potential fallback option for the Seahawks.

Fantasy Impact

Seattle saw Kenneth Walker go to Kansas City, while also missing out on the likes of Tyler Allgeier and Rico Dowdle in free agency. They're currently led by Zach Charbonnet, who will miss the start of next season with a torn ACL. They are expected to address the position in the NFL Draft, but it makes sense to also bring in a veteran in free agency. White would make for a solid fit in that sense.

Rachaad White ran for 23 yards on seven carries in the Buccaneers 16-14 win over the Panthers. He also caught 2-of-2 targets for 18 yards receiving.

Fantasy Impact

White saw just seven carries to 26 carries for Bucky Irving. It was a struggle getting much going on the ground for both of them. White is set to enter free agency this offseason.

Rachaad White was an afterthought in the offense during Sunday's 20-17 loss to Miami, turning two carries into 10 yards and catching both of his targets for seven yards. The running back posted his lowest rushing yardage total of the season as he took a backseat to starter Bucky Irving.

Fantasy Impact

Despite extending his reception streak to 16 games, White's fantasy value has diminished significantly with Irving's return to the lead role. He will look to contribute as a reserve in the Week 18 finale against the Panthers.

Rachaad White ran four times for 49 yards and caught both of his targets for 21 yards in the Bucs' 23-20 loss to Carolina.

Fantasy Impact

White had a nice, long run of 39 yards in this game, as well as coming in as the primary pass-catching back. The Tampa Bay backfield has become a crazy committee at this point, with all of their backs tough to trust for fantasy.
