Rashaan Evans elevated from Cowboys’ practice squad

The Cowboys have elevated LB Rashaan Evans from their practice squad ahead of Sunday’s game with the Giants.

Fantasy Impact

This is Evans final practice squad elevation and the team will have to sign him to the 53-man roster if they choose to play him again this season. A decision on Evans’ roster status should be determined next week.

Rashaan Evans expected to signs with Cowboys

Rashaan Evans is expected to sign with the Cowboys on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Evans has yet to take the field for an NFL game this season, as his free agency did not go as expected. After spending four years in mostly a starting role for the Titans, the 2018 first-round draft pick recorded a career-high 159 tackles for the Falcons last season. Still, Evans ended up on the Eagles' practice squad this past preseason and requested his release after just four days there. The Cowboys are adding a tackling machine to their already strong defensive unit.

Rashaan Evans signs with Eagles' practice squad Monday

Former Titans' LB Rashaan Evans has signed with the Philadelphia practice squad, according to Jordan Schultz on Twitter.

Fantasy Impact

The signing of Evans to the team's practice squad comes on the same day the team reports Nakobe Dean may miss significant time, and given the lack of depth at the LB position for the Eagles, Evans could be elevated for the team's Week 2 Thursday Night game versus Minnesota.

Rashaan Evans signs one-year deal with Falcons

According to Adam Schefter, LB Rashaan Evans has agreed to a one-year deal with the Falcons.

Fantasy Impact

Evans, who started for the Titans last season is taking his talents to Atlanta. The veteran LB recorded 57 tackles and two sacks during last season. With a lack of depth or much skill at the LB position, this acquisition for the Falcons is an excellent one.

Rashaan Evans (foot) disappears in the biggest game of the year

Rashaan Evans was nowhere to be found in the Titan's 35-24 AFC Championship loss to the Chiefs, logging just a half tackle.

Fantasy Impact

Evans' worst statistical game of the year could not have come at a worse time, as the Titans' surprising playoff run came to an end at the hands of Kansas City. He did exit briefly with a foot injury but was able to return for the rest of the game. Evans had a solid sophomore year as the second-leading tackler for Tennesee, and should only see his role expand next season.
