Rashid Shaheed
WR - NO
2023 Outlook
Saints WR Rashid Shaheed has reportedly looked great in a limited sample size at Saints OTAs.
Fantasy Impact
Shaheed looked great in a limited sample size of full-team and 7-on-7 drills, including a deep catch behind the defense in 11-on-11 and a one-handed catch in stride near the line. He showed flashes last year with over 50 receiving yards in five games. It is possible his role grows this season, but it remains to be seen if he'll see a big enough role to consistently be fantasy relevant.
Rashid Shaheed caught all six of his targets for 79 yards in a 20-10 win over the Eagles.
Fantasy Impact
Shaheed led the Saints in receptions and receiving yards Sunday. The bulk of Shaheed’s yards came on a 58 yard reception from Andy Dalton. The rookie wide receiver and the Saints will take on the Panthers in Week 18.
Rashid Shaheed caught four of his five targets for 41 yards in a Week 16 win over Cleveland.
Fantasy Impact
Shaheed led the Saints’ offense in targets, receptions, and receiving yards in the win over the Browns. The 24-year-old wide receiver has been a bright spot for the Saints’ offense over the last few weeks. Shaheed likely should be out of championship week lineups, but he is a solid hold in dynasty formats.
Rashid Shaheed hauled in three of his four targets for 95 receiving yards and one touchdown in the Saints' 21-18 Week 15 win over the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact
Shaheed has now finished as the leading receiver in consecutive games as the pass catcher has seemed to develop solid chemistry with starting quarterback Andy Dalton of late. The wideout will look to make an impact in a tough Week 16 matchup against a solid Cleveland Browns pass defense.
Rashid Shaheed led the Saints in receiving yards Monday night, hauling in all four of his targets for 75 receiving yards in a 17-16 Week 13 loss to the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
Shaheed flashed his big-play ability against a solid Tampa Bay defense Monday night, averaging 18.8 yards per reception on the night. The wideout will look to continue to see an increased snap rate and more opportunities down the stretch for an injury-plagued pass-catching group and will come out of the team's Week 14 bye with an intriguing Week 15 matchup against a questionable Atlanta Falcons secondary.
