Shaheed will return to the Saints as an exclusive rights free agent. He has impressed in a depth role the past two seasons with New Orleans to go along with a role in special teams. Shaheed figures to remain in a similar role next season.

Fantasy Impact

Shaheed caught a 39-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter to extend the Saints lead. The 25-year-old will finish the 2023 season with 719 yards and five touchdowns on 46 receptions. The speedy wide receiver will likely play a key role in the Saints’ offense in 2024.

Rashid Shaheed caught 2-of-3 targets for 14 yards in the Saints’ 23-13 loss to Tampa Bay.

Fantasy Impact

Shaheed’s two receptions are his lowest total since Week 12. The 25-year-old wide receivers will look to bounce back in a Week 18 matchup with the Falcons. Shaheed struggled against the Falcons in Week 12, tallying nine yards on two receptions.

Rashid Shaheed caught 5-of-9 targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Saints' 30-22 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.

Fantasy Impact

Shaheed did most of his damage on a long 45-yard touchdown reception that was the Saints' first and only touchdown for most of the game. His involvement as the No.2 target behind Olave is encouraging, and he's shaping up to be a nice fantasy asset moving forward for dynasty leagues.

Rashid Shaheed caught three of his four targets for 36 yards in a 24-6 win over the Giants in Week 15.

Shaheed missed the past two games with a thigh injury but he was able to take the field in the win over the Giants. He wound up finishing third on the team in receiving yards in the contest. Shaheed will be a boom/bust flex option heading into Week 16 against the Rams.
