Shaheed has made minimal impact in the Seattle offense to behind the season, finishing under 40 receiving yards in each of the first three contests. The wideout remains another risky pass-catching option to this point, with a Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers up next.

Shaheed was second on the team in targets, but it all amounted to less than a quarter of the yards teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba had on his 11 targets. Shaheed can have some spike performances, but especially with Drew Lock being more conservative and locked onto JSN, he's more of a flex play at best right now.

The speedy wideout wasn't able to do much on Wednesday, catching just one pass for four yards in the team's win over New England. The injury to starter Sam Darnold (hip) may have played a large role in his lack of production, however, so this isn't a good game to look at in order to discern his true involvement in this offense.

Shaheed wasn’t what fantasy players hoped he would be in Seattle, managing only 15 receptions for 188 yards after being traded to Seattle despite his deep threat skillset and QB Sam Darnold’s deep throwing ability. However, Shaheed proved his worth in the return game, returning both a punt and kickoff for a touchdown for Seattle. Hopefully in 2026 he sees more work in the receiving game, as his price tag would imply. This likely means Tory Horton’s breakout is at best delayed, if not completely out of the cards with Cooper Kupp also still on the roster with Shaheed and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
