Week 3 Outlook
The Philadelphia Eagles released QB Reid Sinnett on Wednesday.
Sinnett was waived by the Eagles on August 30th and joined the practice squad the following day. Although Sinnett has not appeared in a regular season game, he will likely get another look with a team’s practice squad.
After previously being waived by them, Reid Sinnett has joined the Eagles practice squad.
Sinnett will be an insurance option on the Eagles practice squad for the quarterback room. He threw just two touchdowns and one interception in preseason play for Philadelphia.
The Philadelphia Eagles waived QB Reid Sinnett Tuesday.
Sinnett did not look great in the Eagles’ final preseason game against the Dolphins. He completed just 54.6% of his passes and logged an interception. Sinnett could be a practice squad candidate since the Eagles currently only have Jalen Hurts and Gardner Minshew on the roster.
Reid Sinnett completed 12 of his 22 pass attempts for 104 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in Saturday's blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins in the final preseason game of the summer.
Sinnett has been inconsistent throughout the summer and is unlikely to make the 53-man roster in Philadelphia. He's expected to land on the practice squad if he clears waivers but has minimal fantasy value, even in dynasty leagues.
Reid Sinnett completed four of his nine pass attempts for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns. He also rushed three times or 16 yards.
Most of Sinnett's yards came on a 55-yard touchdown pass to Devon Allen as the young WR broke free over the top of the defense. It's unclear if the Eagles will roster a third QB behind Jalen Hurts and Gardner Minshew, but Sinnett appears to have a clear lead over undrafted rookie Carson Strong at the moment.
