TE - WAS
Week 13 Outlook
Football Team TE Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) is listed as doubtful ahead of Monday night's Week 12 game vs the Seattle Seahawks.
Seals-Jones has performed admirably at times this season as a replacement for injured teammate TE Logan Thomas. Fortunately, the latter is set to return this week after landing on IR with a hamstring injury in Week 4. The absence of Seals-Jones leaves John Bates as the other healthy TE of note on the roster, but only Thomas should be considered as a fantasy option.
Washington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) did not participate in practice on Friday.
Seals-Jones didn't play last week, and unless he practices in some form on Saturday, it looks like he'll be inactive for Monday Night Football against the Giants. He could be replaced by Logan Thomas, who is currently on IR, or John Bates.
Washington Football Team tight end Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) won't play in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Seals-Jones was unable to practice this week and ultimately ruled out for Sunday's game. The 26-year-old has filled in nicely as Washington's primary tight end with Logan Thomas (hamstring) on injured reserve. He's caught 23 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns over nine games this season. It's unclear if Thomas will return for Sunday's game; John Bates and Sammis Reyes could be Washington's top tight-end options in Week 11.
Per Ben Standig of The Athletic, TE Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) was not spotted during Washington's Thursday practice.
Already thin at TE with Logan Thomas' status uncertain, Washington might be down Seals-Jones as well with him not practicing this late in the week. Next up on the depth chart for Washington at TE would be John Bates who will not be a trustworthy fantasy option if the former two TE's can not suit up.
According to Washington coach Ron Rivera, Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) is "day to day".
We're still awaiting word on Logan Thomas' Week 11 status. The news on Seals-Jones should have fantasy managers looking elsewhere for a tight end.
