RJ Harvey
RB - Denver Broncos
Availability
RJ Harvey rushed the ball 13 times for 35 yards and two touchdowns and caught three passes for 27 yards in Sunday night's 27-26 OT win over the Washington Commanders.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie running back stepped up and saw the bulk of the work in Denver's backfield on Sunday night. He did well by scoring two touchdowns on the night, but he was rushing at a clip of just 2.7 yards per carry, which may call into question his week-to-week consistency if that doesn't improve. Fantasy managers should still feel confident starting him week-to-week for the foreseeable future.
RJ Harvey rushed the ball 11 times for 30 yards and caught three passes for 20 yards in Sunday's 22-19 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie was not able to make the most out of his increased opportunities on Sunday. He finished the game with just 50 total yards on 14 touches and was rushing at a clip of 2.7 yards per carry. He should bounce back and look great in the near future, especially with some positive matchups coming down the pipeline for him.
Broncos coach Sean Payton said RB RJ Harvey will “have more opportunities” if JK Dobbins is sidelined.
Fantasy Impact
Dobbins is almost certain out this week as the Broncos have talked about placing him on IR. If he does miss time, Harvey would become an RB2 with RB1 upside for fantasy managers.
RJ Harvey rushed the ball four times for nine yards and caught two passes for nine yards in Thursday night's 10-7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fantasy Impact
The rookie wasn't able to do much on Thursday night. He saw just six touches over the course of the game and was only able to turn that into 18 scoreless yards. He has decent week-to-week upside but remains a fringe boom-or-bust option at best for the foreseeable future.
RJ Harvey gained five yards on just two carries but caught all five of his targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 18-15 win over the Texans.
Fantasy Impact
Harvey continues to show off his skills as a pass catcher out of the backfield, hauling in a touchdown pass for the third consecutive game and fourth time overall this season. The rookie back did not add two scores on the ground this time as he did last week, but he was a significant factor in the Broncos' offense nonetheless. Harvey is the change-of-pace backup to starter J.K. Dobbins, but he is a flex option at minimum in his own right.
