This Week Outlook
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports kicker Robbie Gould and the 49ers have agreed on a two-year, $7.25 million extension.
The deal ties Gould to San Francisco through the 2022 campaign and is fully guaranteed. He'll likely remain fantasy relevant entering next year.
Robbie Gould missed both of his field goal attempts and chipped in 2-of-3 extra point attempts during the 49ers 20-12 win over the Cardinals in Week 16.
This was arguably Gould's worst game of the season as both of his misses came in the second half and were under 45-yard attempts. Gould remains one of the best real-life kickers in the game but has had a disappointing fantasy season with all of the injuries and lack of upside in this 49ers offense. He'll be among one of the top streaming options heading into the 2021 season and he will have a chance to forgive Saturday's horrific showing with a matchup against the Seahawks on deck for Week 17.
Robbie Gould nailed both of his field goal attempts and connected on all three of his extra point attempts during the 49ers' 33-41 loss to the Cowboys in Week 15.
Gould was as good as can be in this one as he's made 19-of-21 field goals on the year. Volume has been his only problem as he hasn't seen many opportunities to score with the 49ers' bottom tier offense this season.
Robbie Gould did not attempt a field goal but chipped in his lone extra point attempt during the 49ers' 15-23 loss to the WFT.
As is always the case, Gould remains an elite kicker but the lack of opportunities hinder his fantasy value. He should have a nice shot to bounce-back in Week 15, however, as a matchup against the Cowboys should allow the 49ers' offense to live in field goal range for much of the game.
Robbie Gould connected on his lone field goal attempt from 45-yards out and chipped in all three of his extra point attempts during the 49ers' 24-34 loss to the Bills' on Monday Night Football.
As is always the case, skill isn't Gould's problem, it's opportunity. Gould remains one of the best kickers in the game but is held back by the 49ers' offensive limitations. There are better options in Week 14.
