DT - HOU
Week 17 Outlook
The Houston Texans have agreed to terms with second-round draft choice DT Ross Blacklock from TCU.
The hard-nosed run-stuffing tackle played just two full seasons at TCU, but it was enough to net him as the 40th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He’ll join a very solid defensive line in Houston that will look to take another step forward this season.
The Houston Texans have selected defensive tackle Ross Blacklock with the No. 40 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The long and lean defensive tackle out of TCU fills a void left by DT D.J. Reader. Blacklock’s game is centered more around athleticism and quickness than it is power, but he can really get after the quarterback with elite agility. Look for Blacklock to make an immediate impact on the defensive line for the Texans.
