WR - ATL
Week 8 Outlook
Falcons WR Russell Gage caught 2-of-3 targets for 25 yards in Thursday night's Week 8 win over the Panthers.
This was Gage's fourth game of the year with fewer than 26 yards and fifth with fewer than 46. Even with Calvin Ridley sidelined for most of the game, Gage was a non-factor. Gage is off the radar, especially if Ridely plays in Week 9 agasint Denver.
Atlanta Falcons WR Russell Gage was limited at practice on Tuesday with a knee injury.
Gage doesn't appear to be in danger of missing Thursday night's game against the Panthers, but it's worth keeping an eye on. He was a popular waiver target early in the season after solid showing's against poor defenses (Dallas and Seattle), but has been a non-factor for the last five weeks. He can be considered a FLEX streamer for bye week fill-ins at this point.
Falcons WR Russell Gage caught 6-of-7 targets for 54 yards in Sunday's Week 7 loss to the Lions.
It was another solid PPR outing for Gage. While he did not tally a ton of yards, he did catch six balls, enough for a double-digit PPR point game. Gage is a high-floor flex option for Week 8 at Carolina.
Falcons WR Russell Gage caught 4-of-4 targets for 65 yards in Sunday's Week 6 win over the Vikings.
Gage had his best game since Week 1 in Sunday's win. It likely has to do with Julio Jones' return as he will draw the top-end coverage. Gage will look to return to weekly fantasy relevance in the Flex spot in PPR with another solid outing in Week 7 against the Lions.
Falcons WR Russell Gage caught 2-of-5 targets for 16 yards in Sunday's Week 5 loss to the Panthers.
It was another clunker for Gage, who outside of Week 1, has logged fewer than 46 yards in four straight games including three straight with fewer than 26. Gage has a shot to get back on track in Week 6 against the Vikings.
