TE - FA
The Patriots traded TE Ryan Izzo to the Texans in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Izzo started 12 games for the Patriots in 2020 before being placed on injured reserve with a neck injury. He hauled in 13 catches for 199 yards with New England last season. Izzo will provide the Texans depth at tight end, but has little to no fantasy value in 2021.
The Patriots placed TE Ryan Izzo (neck) on injured reserve Thursday.
Izzo sustained a neck injury in Week 12’s win over the Chargers. It was serious enough to land the Patriots’ TE on injured reserve. Devin Asiasi was activated from IR in a corresponding move. Izzo has hauled in 13 receptions for 199 yards and no touchdowns over 12 games this season. It is unclear if the 24-year-old TE will return this year.
Ryan Izzo caught two passes for 59 yards in the Patriots' Week 11 loss to the Texans.
Both receptions came on the final drive of the game with Houston in prevent defense. Izzo is well off the fantasy radar ahead of Week 12 against the Cardinals.
Ryan Izzo caught a 20-yard pass in the Patriots' 23-17 Week 10 win over the Ravens on Sunday night.
Izzo has topped 25 receiving yards just once this year. He isn't a fantasy option this season. The Patriots face the Texans next weekend.
Ryan Izzo caught two passes for 24 yards in the Patriots' Week 8 loss to the Bills.
Izzo was the only active tight end for New England in this one, but he still couldn't factor into the box score. He's well off the fantasy radar ahead of Week 9 versus the Jets.
