Sam Acho will miss the remainder of the season with a torn pec

Sam Acho will miss the season with a torn left pectoral injury. He sustained the injury during the Week 4 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact

Acho was mainly serving as a backup LB, so this shouldn't be an issue for most IDP leagues. The Bears will probably turn to Aaron Lynch as the primary backup to Khalil Mack.

Sam Acho leaves Sunday with a pectoral injury

Sam Acho left Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay with a pectoral injury. He did not register any tackles during the game.

Fantasy Impact

Acho is probably not owned in most leagues and if that is the case keep it that way. With Khalil Mack in town, Acho won’t get the majority of work and is serving as a rotational player.

Sam Acho looked better than stats again

Sam Acho only finished with one solo tackle and two assists. He also had a pass deflection. That said, he had two QB hits and created some pressure. His pass deflection could have been an easy touchdown if he hauled in the ball for an interception. Acho has been up and down throughout the year, but he looked better than his stat sheet.

Fantasy Impact

Sam Acho is not worth an add in IDP leagues. At this point he doesn't even deserve to be on the watch list. His play is inconsistent and so is his playing time. With the return of Pernell McPhee his snaps will likely decrease as well.

Sam Acho playing bigger than stats show

The Bears' LB room was strong heading into the season, but with injuries to Pernell McPhee, Lamarr Houston and Danny Trevathan, other players have had to step up, veteran Sam Acho being one of them.

Fantasy Impact

Acho is earning a healthy dose of snaps opposite Willie Young as Leonard Floyd continues to fail to make it through an entire game healthy. Acho only had one tackle in the win over the Lions on Sunday, but he is in the right spot more often than not including on the onside kick recovery to seal the win.

Sam Acho records his first sack of the season

The Bears looked awful in the second half again and lost to the Eagles 14-29 on Monday. Sam Acho saw some playing time and finished with two tackles, an assist and his first sack of the year.

Fantasy Impact

Acho is another guy who could see increased playing time with Lamarr Houston out and Pernell McPhee still on the PUP list. That said, the Bears like to rotate often and Acho is not worth an add in IDP leagues at this time.
