Sean Weatherspoon finds his way back to Atlanta

The Atlanta Falcons and LB Sean Weatherspoon agree to terms on a one-year deal on Thursday according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Fantasy Impact

Sean Weatherspoon finds his way back to Atlanta, the team that selected him in the first round of the 2010 draft after a one-year stint in Arizona. Weatherspoon had a dismal season in 2015, finishing the year with only 11 total tackles in 13 games. The veteran linebacker will attempt to rejuvenate his NFL career in the city that started it.

Cardinals Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon still bothered by hamstring

According to Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians, it's is going to be another week on the sidelines for inside linebacker Sean Weatherspoon due to the hamstring he pulled on day one of camp.

Fantasy Impact

Unfortunately for Weatherspoon, he has not had a chance to get in a full day of practice because of this injury, and seems to have a black cloud following him after just missing all of last season with a ruptured Achilles.' This is obviously not encouraging for the Cardinals or fantasy owners that may be targeting him as one of their individual defensive players.

Sean Weatherspoon to choose between Cardinals and Saints

The oft-injured Sean Weatherspoon appears to be moving on from Atlanta. According to a source, Weatherspoon's choice has been narrowed to Arizona or New Orleans.

Fantasy Impact

Arizona is in desperate need of linebacker help. Daryl Washington is coming off a year-long suspension and will likely be hit with a six-game suspension this year for domestic abuse. Larry Foote filled in for Washington last year, but graded out as one of the worst LBs in the league. If they can land Weatherspoon, he will be a huge upgrade for the Defense in the Desert. The bigger question is, can Weatherspoon actually stay healthy.
