Week 7 Outlook
Panthers WR Seth Roberts caught 1-of-2 targets for five yards in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Raiders.
Roberts is just a guy in the Panthers offense and will likely make his biggest contributes to the team on special teams. He will need an injury to occur to become fantasy relevant and that would even be a stretch.
Free agent wide receiver Seth Roberts is signing with the Panthers.
Roberts will start 2020 with his third team in seven seasons. The Panthers' 1-2 punch of D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel will remain intact, and the addition of Roberts is just another weapon for newly-acquired Teddy Bridgewater. Being the fourth option in the receiving game (behind Christian McCaffrey, Moore, and Samuel) will leave some scraps for Roberts, but not enough to vault him into the fantasy radar yet. Except this to be a slight boost to Bridgewater's value, but considering that Roberts has never cracked 45 catches in a season, don't expect too much out of him.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Seth Roberts caught two passes for 20 yards in a 28-12 loss to the Titans in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Roberts had a quiet night despite Lamar Jackson throwing for 365 yards. Roberts will not be on the fantasy radar heading into 2020 drafts.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Seth Roberts failed to corral his lone target in a 28-10 win over the Steelers in Week 17.
Roberts finishes the season with 21 catches for 271 yards and two touchdowns. He will next suit up in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Seth Roberts caught 2-of-3 targets for 23 yards in a 31-15 win over the Browns in Week 16.
Roberts actually led all Baltimore wide receivers on the afternoon. The veteran wideout will not be a strong fantasy option in Week 17 against the Steelers.
