DT - MIN
The Browns announced on Tuesday that they terminated the contract of DT Sheldon Day, making Day a free agent.
Day played seven games with the Browns last season, recording 21 tackles, one sack, and two passes defended. The 28-year-old has 46 tackles and seven sacks in 67 games in seven NFL seasons. Day should draw some interest from a team in need of a DT.
Former 49ers DT Sheldon Day is headed to Indianapolis on a one-year deal.
Day, a former 2016 fourth-round pick out of Notre Dame, has played for both the Jaguars and 49ers, and played a role in Super Bowl LIV last season. He’ll look to provide the Colts with some depth up-front this upcoming year.
Sheldon Day recorded one combined tackle and one sack against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7.
Day contributed to the Jaguars DST's ten sacks in Week 7. This is the first time Day is on the fantasy radar for 2017. He is deep sleeper to watch in the future but isn't worth the roster spot until he does it a few weeks in a row.
