Sio Moore traded to the Colts

Linebacker Sio Moore was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for a late-round draft pick.

Fantasy Impact

Moore had fallen out of favor with new Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio. He was also recovering from a hip ailment. I doubt he will have any fantasy impact but let's see what Chuck Pagano has in store.

Sio Moore in the doghouse

Raiders linebacker Sio Moore did not record a stat in Thursday night's preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. In fact, he barely received any snaps and entered the game very late.

Fantasy Impact

Moore has been recovering from a hip ailment. He's missed a ton of practice and has recorded only nine snaps in the preseason. "Del Rio said Thursday night players 'get what they earn,' and Sio didn’t get much." There is speculation that Moore could be cut or traded. Ray-Ray Armstrong is currently listed at SAM and Malcolm Smith at WILL.

Sio Moore Headed to IR

Per reports, Sio Moore has been placed on IR.

Fantasy Impact

Very tough break for the Raiders and for Sio Moore, who has 67 tackles through 11 games this season, 28 more than he had in 15 games in 2013. Moore came on strong as of late, registering 29 total tackles in his last 4 games. Raider fans can only hope the momentum from this season will carry into the next, if Moore isn't a casualty of many looming changes coming to Oakland.

Inactive list for the Raiders

Raiders inactives: QB Matt McGloin, WR Denarius Moore, LB Sio Moore, G Tony Bergstrom, T Menelik Watson, TE Brian Leonhardt, DT Stacy McGee

Fantasy Impact

The most notable inactive is LB Sio Moore. He was instrumental in containing Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles in Week 14. His loss portends great things for Charles as the Chiefs fight for their playoff lives.

Handful of Raider defenders questionable

"Raiders: CB Tarell Brown, CB Neiko Thrope, LB Sio Moore all questionable; Dowling, Leonhardt, Watson are out."

Fantasy Impact

Not that you were really thinking about starting the Raiders DST against the 49ers this weekend, but if you were, it looks like they could be missing a group of guys. The Raiders need all the help they can get in order to get a win, and to have so many players questionable hurts their chances even more. You can't possibly be so desperate that you'd start them this weekend, but if you are, temper expectations.
