Linebacker Spencer Paysinger has re-signed with the Dolphins. Last season, the linebacking crew got hit hard by injuries and the team chose to play rookies Neville Hewitt and Zach Vigil ahead of him.
The five-year veteran played mainly on special teams and offered depth on defense. The rookie upstarts limited his contributions elsewhere.
The Dolphins have signed former Giant, Spencer Paysinger to a one-year deal. Paysinger spent four years with the Giants, and played last year behind Jacquian Williams.
The Dolphins are working to strengthen their linebacker ranks after releasing a number of starters and reserves. Paysinger can play all three linebacker positions and is also a strong contributor on special teams. He has the opportunity to compete for a starting role.
