Los Angeles Rams WR Stedman Bailey (head) is eyeing a comeback to the playing field as he is still recovering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head stemming from an incident from last November. "Physically, I'm able to run out here just like all the guys, catch balls. Everything feels good," Bailey told the media. "I just kind of took some time off, but I was able to bounce back and recover very well. I definitely feel like I have a chance to step back on the field and be able to continue playing football."
Stedman Bailey was waived by the Rams last week, only to be brought back to the organization in a coaching capacity of sorts. The three-year veteran has not ruled out a comeback to the team as a player, but he is not rushing his recovery from the gunshot wounds to his head.

It is not clear at this time if Bailey will return to the field again this season but nonetheless we wish him a speedy recovery.
Per a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, Stedman Bailey has been suspended 4 games for violating the NFL's Substance Abuse policy. He will not appeal the decision.
Bailey's recent performances have bordered on invisible and this suspension will not help his cause for getting additional reps once he finds the field.Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt should get increased looks without Bailey in the lineup. This certainly didn't come as a shock to the Rams who were working out the likes of Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks, and Vincent Brown on Monday.
