Steven Hauschka converts lone attempt in Bills loss

Buffalo Bills K Steven Hauschka again made the most of limited opportunity in his team's season ending Wild Card Playoff loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hauschka converted on his lone attempt, a 31 yard second quarter field goal.

Fantasy Impact

Hauschka had about as good a season as one could expect playing for a team whose offense was as up and down this year as the Bills' was. He remains an experienced, skilled and reliable NFL kicker, whose value could see an uptick in 2018 if the changes that are likely to come for the Bills offensive personnel leads to a unit that produces more consistent scoring opportunities.

Steven Hauschka boots three FGs in Bills loss

Buffalo Bills K Steven Hauschka saw an uptick in opportunity in his team's week 16 road loss to the New England Patriots. After three straight games with one or fewer FG attempts, Hauschka had four such tries on Sunday, converting three. He added a conversion on his lone PAT attempt.

Fantasy Impact

Hauschka's fourth quarter missed FG from 50 yards was just his third miss on the year, illustrating his reliability and skill at his position. While viable for fantasy, he remains a middle of the road option, due to the Bills' inconsistent offense limiting his potential opportunities.

Steven Hauschka converts each of his attempts versus Dolphins

For the 12 time in 14 games this season, Bufffalo Bills K Steven Hauschka had a perfect conversion rate on his attempts in Sunday's home victory over the Miami Dolphins. Hauschka converted a 34 yard field goal in the 3rd quarter, as well as making good on all three of his PAT tries in the contest.

Fantasy Impact

Hauschka has been as reliable as they come among kickers this season, but has seen his fantasy value stunted by the inconsistency of the Bills' offense. While you could do worse than using Hauschka in your lineup, you can (and should) seek a better option.

Steven Hauschka converts lone PAT attempt

Buffalo Bills K Steven Hauschka saw his opportunities limited by severe winter weather conditions in his team's week 14 victory over the visiting Indianapolis Colts. Both offenses struggled to move the ball, and the Bills elected to keep their offense on the field on two fourth down plays in Colts territory in circumstances where they might normally have brought in the kicking unit. Hauschka was able to convert a PAT after the Bills only regulation TD late in the first half.

Fantasy Impact

Any kick made in this game is worthy of adulation, given the conditions. Hauschka remains a middle of the pack fantasy kicker, with his potential being muted by his team's general inefficiency on offense.

Steven Hauschka finds little opportunity in Bills loss

Buffalo Bills K Steven Hauschka again fell victim to his team's ineffective offense in their week 13 loss to the New England Patriots. Hauschka was given little chance to contribute, but was able to convert on his lone FG attempt from 49 yards.

Fantasy Impact

Hauschka remains a reliable and talented NFL kicker, but one whose prospects for fantasy are unfortunately diminished by situation while the Bills' offense struggles. There are likely better options at the position for the fantasy playoffs - seek them out.
