Smartt will serve as a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Fantasy managers can leave the 27-year-old on their wavier wire.

The Jets have signed TE Stone Smartt to a one-year contract.

Fantasy Impact

Smartt was non-tendered by the Chargers after seeing a limited role in 2024. With Jeremy Ruckert the only tight end currently on the roster in New York, Smartt could have a path to playing time in 2025.

Stone Smartt caught 2-of-2 targets for 23 yards in the Chargers 40-7 win over the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Smartt continues to split time with Will Dissly, limiting both of their upside. Fantasy managers should expect both to continue to see playing time against the Raiders in Week 18.

Stone Smartt hauled in three passes for 37 yards in Thursday's 34-27 win over the Denver Broncos.

Smartt once again saw more opportunities than usual with Will Dissly (shoulder) sidelined again in Week 16, but this time, he wasn't able to do much. He ended the game with just three catches, which wasn't enough to put up any strong fantasy numbers. He will see less work whenever Dissly is back in the lineup for Los Angeles.

Stone Smartt hauled in five passes for 50 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 40-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Smartt was actually pretty involved on Sunday. That came as a result of Will Dissly (shoulder) being ruled out ahead of game time, and it led to more work for the the 26-year old, who would've had a solid fantasy total in PPR formats if he didn't lose a fumble.
