The Tennessee Titans D/ST got run over by the Jaguars on Sunday in their 41-7 loss. They did manage to get at least two sacks.
Fantasy Impact
The Titans were once again unusable for fantasy, a lack of talent putting them behind the 8-ball. They will look to improve this offseason by adding talent via free agency and the draft.
The Titans defense surrendered 423 yards of total offense, coming up with two sacks and one fumble recovery in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Saints.
Fantasy Impact
The Saints got one touchdown on defense in Week 17, but the rest of their scoring came against the Titans defense. Rookie QB Tyler Shough had his way with the Tennessee unit, throwing for more than 330 yards and a couple of scores. The Titans have now given up at least 25 points in six straight games, and they will face the high-powered Jaguars in Week 18.
The Titans D/ST allowed nine points on 133 total yards with four sacks on Sunday against the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
Kansas City was already without Patrick Mahomes, and also went on lose Gardner Minshew early. That led to the inexperienced Chris Oladokun starting most of the game, who took four sacks. The Titans face the Saints next week.
The Titans D/ST allowed 37 points while notching two sacks and forcing one turnover in a 37-24 loss to the 49ers in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact
Tennessee's defense was shredded by the 49ers in the loss. They were led by Jeffery Simmons and Jaylen Harrell, who each had a sack. Simmons had a career day as he also forced a fumble and caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Cam Ward. The Titans will look to bounce back in Week 16 against a Chiefs team that will be without Patrick Mahomes (knee).
The Titans D/ST registered two sacks while also forcing two turnovers (one fumble recovery, one interception) in a 31-29 win over the Browns in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact
The unit was able to make stops in key situations, including a two-point conversion stop to seal the deal Sunday. The unit remains risky option in all formats ahead of a Week 15 contest against the San Francisco 49ers.
