Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Terrell Lewis is inactive for Monday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals.
Lewis was able to log a limited practice on Saturday after missing Thursday and Friday’s sessions but was unable to be cleared for tonight’s matchup. Lewis is a key component of the Rams pass rush, but the presence of Von Miller will soften his absence. Lewis has three sacks on the season but has seen his role dwindle since Week 9.
Rams DE Terrell Lewis was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Lewis was the team's third-round selection in the 2020 draft. He has a chance to get significant run with the Rams' defensive line this season.
The Los Angeles Rams have selected defensive end Terrell Lewis with the No. 84 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Rams desperately needed an edge rusher and they went out and got one by drafting Lewis with the 84th overall pick. He’s long and athletic and has excellent lateral quickness to his game. Lewis comes to the Rams with an injury-history at Alabama, which could be one of the reasons he fell into the third round. When he’s healthy, Lewis is a force to be reckoned with off the edge.
