Week 8 Outlook
Tim Boyle is currently listed as the Packers' backup quarterback on the team's official website.
These depth charts don't mean anything. One has to figure that Jordan Love would enter the game if anything happened to Aaron Rodgers this season.
Tim Boyle completed three of six pass attempts for 18 yards, one TD, and no INTs in the Packers’ win over the Chiefs in Thursday’s preseason finale.
Boyle got in very limited action but still managed to throw a TD. He's outplayed DeShone Kizer this preseason and could open as Aaron Rodgers' top backup.
Tim Boyle completed 16 of 21 passes for 191 yards, two TDs and no INTs in the Packers' loss to the Raiders on Thursday.
Boyle looked good Thursday, completing a high percentage of his passes and cutting out any turnovers. He and DeShone Kizer are still in the running to be Aaron Rodgers' backup, but the edge seems to be with Boyle right now.
Tim Boyle completed 12 of 21 passes for 107 yards and a TD in the Packers' preseason loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
Boyle finished with a TD and no picks, though his 107 yards on 21 attempts were pitiful on a yards-per-attempt basis. The Eastern Kentucky product will compete with DeShone Kizer for the backup QB role behind Aaron Rodgers.
