T.J. Yeldon lays egg in lead back role

T.J. Yeldon rushed seven times for 18 yards and caught three of his four targets for 24 yards in the Bills' Week 17 loss to the Jets.

Fantasy Impact

Yeldon was the lead back in name only, as he out-touched Frank Gore's corpse by just one carry. Yeldon has always been an underrated back with a three-down skillset, but has struggled to capture meaningful opportunity. He's signed through 2020 with Buffalo, so he'd figure to be lightly used in a backup role to spell Devin Singletary next season. His contract has an easy out with very little dead cap, so the Bills could decide to move on if they so desire.

T.J. Yeldon sees limited work in Week 5

T.J. Yeldon rushed twice for 15 yards and caught four of his five targets for 13 yards in the Bills' Week 5 win over the Titans.

Fantasy Impact

Yeldon remains unusable in fantasy football due to the lack of touches he is seeing. After the Week 6 bye, the outlook will continue to be bleak, as rookie Devin Singletary should be on the comeback trail. Yeldon can be dropped heading into the bye if needed.

T.J. Yeldon racks up receiving yardage in Week 4

T.J. Yeldon caught all four of his targets for 68 yards in the Bills' Week 4 loss to the Patriots.

Fantasy Impact

Yeldon is not being used consistently in the offensive game plans, and his production is both limited and unreliable. He's worth owning in leagues with enough bench spots due to his all-purpose skillset, but can't be started at this point.

T.J. Yeldon fumbles in Bills' win

T.J. Yeldon rushed eight times for 30 yards and fumbled once in the Bills' Week 3 win over the Bengals. Yeldon caught two of his three targets for 19 yards.

Fantasy Impact

Yeldon is not getting enough usage to have a reliable fantasy outlook on a weekly basis and is nothing more than a bench stash at this point. Once Devin Singletary returns, Yeldon will be droppable.

T.J. Yeldon barely plays in season opener

T.J. Yeldon hardly played and did not touch the ball in the Bills' season opener, a dramatic win over the Jets.

Fantasy Impact

Yeldon should be on waivers if he was not already. This team is clearly using a committee between only Devin Singletary and Frank Gore.
