Tra Carson (hamstring) was placed on the injured reserve Saturday.
Carson was added to the injury report Thursday with a hamstring injury, the Lions ultimately decided to place him on the injured reserve. The significance of the hamstring injury is unclear, but it was serious enough to be placed on the IR. Paul Perkins was placed on the active roster in a corresponding move. Tra Carson rushed six times for 14 yards, adding four receptions for 18 yards in the Packers’ 34-24 win over the Cowboys on Sunday.
Carson got 10 touches in the win, seeing extended work behind Aaron Jones with Jamaal Williams out. He’s not on the fantasy radar outside of deeper leagues, and he’ll lose all value when Williams returns.
Tra Carson rushed six times for 25 yards and added a 14-yard reception in the Packers’ win over the Chiefs in Thursday’s preseason finale.
Carson had another modestly successful preseason game Thursday. The second-year back from Texas A&M does not have a roster spot guaranteed ahead of Saturday's cuts.
