Rams' LB Travin Howard will undergo season-ending surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
This is a huge blow for the Rams as Howard was in line to start in place of Cory Littleton, who signed with the Raiders in free agency. A seventh-round selection in 2018, Howard has posted 22 tackles and three pass deflections across 16 games in his professional career.
Travin Howard is the favorite to begin at the inside linebacker positions for the Rams. Jordan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports that Howard started for the first-team defense during Saturday's scrimmage.
Travin Howard is the favorite to start in place of Cory Littleton. If given enough playing time, Howard could provide high tackle totals, and could be a sneaky late selection in IDP drafts.
