CB - BUF - IR
This Week Outlook
Bills CB Tre'Davious White (ACL) has been formally placed on the Injured-Reserve list.
White's ACL injury that occurred in last Thursday's Week 12 game vs the New Orleans Saints was expected to rule him out for the remainder of the 2021 NFL season and now it is official. This news solidifies the major blow to the Buffalo secondary that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs this season largely through the significant contributions of the aforementioned All-Pro corner.
Bills star DB Tre'Davious White will miss the rest of the 2021 season after suffering a torn ACL on Thanksgiving night.
This truly is a crushing blow to a team with Super Bowl aspirations. White has been an All-Pro each of the last two seasons (first team in 2019, second team in 2020). His leadership, intelligence, and athleticism can't be replaced. Fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on just how much of an impact this injury has on the league's top defensive units.
Bills CB Tre'Davious White is undergoing tests, including an MRI, for the non-contact knee injury he suffered on Thanksgiving.
Coach Sean McDermott said "we pray he's back", which doesn't sound good. White's absence would be a blow to Buffalo's elite pass defense. We'll know more on his status once the tests are conducted.
Bills CB Tre'Davious White is inactive for Week 17 against the Dolphins.
Buffalo can clinch the No. 2 seed with either a victory or a Steelers loss. The higher seeding would be nice, but the team is prioritizing health when it comes to White. Expect them to rest some other starters at some point today.
Bills CB Tre'Davious White (back) is officially active for Week 7 against the Jets.
White has been bothered by a back issue recently but will once again play through it. He has an easy matchup this weekend against the Jets wideouts sans Jamison Crowder.
