Tremaine Edmunds
LB - Chicago Bears
Week 14 Outlook
Availability
Tremaine Edmunds has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Lions.
Fantasy Impact
Edmunds will miss his second straight game after leaving the Bills Week 10 game early a couple of weeks ago. The Bills defense is worth consideration this week, but not a super strong play against a Lions offense that has been really good at times.
Tremaine Edmunds has been downgraded to out against the Browns in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact
Edmunds is battling a groin injury, and he will not play against Nick Chubb and company in Week 11. Buffalo as a whole is struggling through injuries right now, the toll that having an early-season bye week can take on teams as the season progresses. Edmunds next chance to return will be in Week 12 against Detroit.
Buffalo Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds missed Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury.
Fantasy Impact
This appears to be a new ailment for Edmunds, who was not listed with the injury on last week's practice reports. Edmunds is a critical part of the Bills defense, so this is a situation to monitor for Bills fans and fantasy managers alike. Edmunds played every snap against the Ravens, posting an excellent five solos, four assists, and two tackles for loss. Edmunds is a high upside LB2 option when healthy.
Buffalo Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds will have his fifth-year option picked up by the team, per Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact
Although Edmunds just turned 23 years old, he will return to Buffalo for his fourth season in 2021 with hopes of reaching his third Pro Bowl. Edmunds has recorded at least 115 tackles in each of his three seasons in Buffalo, sometimes operating as a coverage linebacker or hybrid safety, using his massive 6'5", 250-pound frame to track down the ball carrier with punishing strength and deceptive speed. Bills' head coach Sean McDermott will be happy to reunite with the two-time Pro Bowl nominee, as he brings continuity and familiarity within the system to lead the linebacker corps.
Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a shoulder injury.
Fantasy Impact
Another blow to Buffalo's D/ST as fellow LB Matt Milano was also ruled out today. Miami's backfield isn't their strong point, so even with both LBs ruled out it's still safe to start the Bills' D/ST with confidence this Sunday.
