Trent Murphy limited Wednesday

Bills defensive end Trent Murphy (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Fantasy Impact

Murphy missed a few snaps against the Texans after rolling his ankle in the loss. The injury is minor, though, and shouldn’t be considered a threat to hold him out of Week 7. Murphy has three sacks in his first six games as a Bill.

According to ESPN reporter John Keim, the Redskins see Trent Murphy as the OLB starter opposite Ryan Kerrigan for the beginning of 2015.

Fantasy Impact

Trent Murphy breaks hand; will likely sit in Week 17

Fantasy Impact

The second-round pick started the last eight games for Washington, getting two and half sacks along with 32 tackles. He's now fully off the radar in IDP leagues.

Trent Murphy gets first NFL sack

Redskins' rookie LB Trent Murphy recorded his three tackles and his first NFL sack during the team's loss to the Vikings.

Fantasy Impact

Trent Murphy already has a sack in only his second game in relief of incumbent starting LB Brian Orakpo. In Orakpo's seven games this season, he was only able to amass half of a sack. Murphy is worth monitoring in IDP leagues, but isn't worth picking up yet.
