Trenton Irwin caught one of his two targets for four yards in the Bengals' 25-17 Week 17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Fantasy Impact

Irwin has yet to see consistent involvement in the Cincinnati passing attack of late, finishing with one reception or less in four of the last five games for the Bengals. The 28-year-old should remain off rosters ahead of a Week 18 home divisional matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Impact

Irwin did most of his damage on a 22-yard reception in the fourth quarter. The veteran wideout has been a marginally useful fantasy option in games where either Ja'Marr Chase or Tee Higgins haven't played this season. He will now prepare to take on the Chiefs on the road in Week 17.

Irwin’s target share fell after seeing a combined nine targets over the last two games. The 27-year-old will likely only remain a potential fantasy option until Tee Higgins (hamstring) is able to return. Irwin and the Bengals will look to get back on track against the Jaguars in Week 13.

Irwin saw increased playing time due to Tee Higgins (hamstring) being sidelines once again. Irwin did not find the end zone again in Week 11 as he did this past Sunday, but he was on the field for more than 50 snaps which has been the case in all three games that Higgins has missed this season. Irwin carries some fantasy value in deeper PPR formats when filling in at WR.

Fantasy Impact

Irwin was expected to see increased volume with Tee Higgins (hamstring) sidelined. While he only caught two passes, he salvaged his outing with a 32-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter. The 27-year-old's fantasy production will presumably decline if Higgins returns to action in Week 11.
