Week 8 Outlook
Tyler Ervin caught one of two targets for eight yards in the Packers’ 30-16 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Ervin typically sees a couple of touches a week as a runner/receiver, though he’s a distant third on the depth chart behind Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. Ervin will need an injury to one or both of those backs to earn any sort of fantasy value moving forward.
Tyler Ervin caught both of his targets for eight yards and had one rushing attempt for five yards in the Packers' win on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
Ervin has carved out a role as the No. 3 running back on the Packers, with involvement in kickoff returns as well. As of right now, it appears that Ervin has surpassed rookie AJ Dillon on the depth chart. Dillon did not have any touches on Sunday night. Ervin isn't receiving enough touches to be played in fantasy yet, but he is gaining some trust in the Packers' offense.
Tyler Ervin rushed three times for 38 yards and caught his only target for six yards in the Packers’ 43-34 win over the Vikings on Sunday.
Ervin saw a smattering of touches, but his involvement in the Packers’ backfield isn’t enough to make him worth rostering week-to-week.
Tyler Ervin carried twice for 25 yards in the Packers’ 28-23 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.
Ervin played backup to Aaron Jones with Jamaal Williams back for his first game in three weeks, though he only logged two touches behind Green Bay's workhorse. Ervin will likely see a drop-off in production in next week’s NFC Championship game with Williams back for a more sizable workload.
Tyler Ervin carried once for 10 yards and caught a five-yard reception in the Packers’ 23-20 win over the Lions on Sunday.
Ervin filled in for Jamaal Williams (shoulder) Sunday, though he was clearly the second option to Aaron Jones, who went for 143 total yards.
