Tyler Shough completed 26 of his 38 passes for 239 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while adding 18 yards on six carries and losing a fumble in a 21-17 loss to the Dolphins in Week 13. He also ran for a two-point conversion following a Chris Olave touchdown in the third quarter.
Fantasy Impact
Shough turned in one of his better performances this season, tying a career-high with two touchdown passes in the close loss. That being said, he will need to do a better job taking care of the football. Shough will be a low-end QB2 in Week 14 against the Buccaneers.

The rookie did not have a good performance on Sunday. He wasn't able to score a touchdown against the Falcons and ended up with two turnovers in a loss at home. He doesn't have many weapons to work with at this point, and he just hasn't flashed nearly enough potential to justify rostering him for fantasy purposes at this point.

Shough looked much better than he did last week in his first career start. He found Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson for his touchdown throws in the win. Shough will be a low-end QB2 in fantasy for his next game, which comes against the Falcons after his bye in Week 11.

Shough found Juwan Johnson for an 11-yard touchdown pass for his first career NFL passing touchdown. The rookie quarterback drew a tough matchup with the Rams in his first NFL start and will look to earn his first win of his career against a strong Panthers' defense in Week 10.

Fantasy Impact
Shough was a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft but has played behind quarterback Spencer Rattler, who has performed admirably this season. However, given that New Orleans has one win, it seems it is time to give their draft pick a chance under center. He threw for 128 yards on 17-for-30 passing with a pick in relief in Week 8 against Tampa Bay.
