Tyrie Cleveland
WR -
Week 14 Outlook
Availability
The Eagles waived/injured WR Tyrie Cleveland Saturday.
Fantasy Impact
Cleveland suffered a concussion and neck sprain during the Eagles’ Thursday night preseason game with the Browns. If Cleveland clears waivers, he will move to the Eagles’ injured reserve list.
According to Mike Klis, Broncos WR Tyrie Cleveland will be out 4-6 weeks after suffering cartilage damage to his throat.
Fantasy Impact
Tyrie Cleveland's injury won't require surgery, but will force the third-year receiver to miss valuable time and reps, especially with Tim Patrick recently suffering a season-ending injury. Cleveland was a seventh-round pick of the team in 2020 and has amassed only six receptions for 63 yards through 17 appearances. The former Florida Gator is not a viable option for fantasy managers looking to get a piece of the Denver Broncos' high-powered offense.
The Denver Broncos have selected wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland with the No. 252 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
Fantasy Impact
The speedy Cleveland joins a crowded receiver group in Denver. Through four years with the Florida Gators, Cleveland snagged 79 catches for 1,271 yards and eight scores. He figures to be depth for the Denver Broncos and a possible deep target for Drew Lock.
Tyrie Cleveland (6'2/209) runs a 4.46 40-yard dash.
Fantasy Impact
Tyrie Cleveland put on a good performance at the NFL Combine, but his tape is extremely inconsistent. His athletic testing may cause a NFL team to bring him on board as a depth option, but it's unlikely to amount to anything significant for fantasy football right out of the gates.
