Will Levis worked out for the Jets on Thursday.

Levis was cut loose by the Titans this past weekend and subsequently cleared waivers. The second-round pick from 2023 spent all of last season on the IL after starting 21 games for the Titans over the previous two campaigns. Levis is looking to catch on with the Jets or another team, most likely as a third QB.

After being chosen with the 33rd overall pick in 2023, Levis failed to impress the Titans enough to keep them from selecting Cam Ward in 2025. Levis himself believes he is worth a starting job somewhere, but finding the job could prove difficult. However, Miami is currently in need of a backup QB, so he could find a home there along with former Titan Malik Willis.

Titans coach Robert Saleh said Will Levis can compete with Mitch Trubisky for No. 2 QB job.

This will be a situation to monitor throughout training camp and into the preseason. Titans GM Mike Borgonzi said rostering third QB is a matter of the best 53 players.

Titans interim coach Mike McCoy said he expects Will Levis to be cleared to throw soon.
