Fantasy Impact

Hutchinson was on the field for 21 offensive snaps and had a nine-yard run in the game, but he was not targeted in the passing game for the second time in the last three weeks. The third-year wide receiver has also turned in three games with at least three receptions during the last five weeks. Hutchinson has potential, but he is quite difficult to project for fantasy purposes due to this inconsistency. Notably, starting QB C.J. Stroud (concussion) is expected back for in Week 13, so do not close the door on Hutchinson completely.

Hutchinson did not see a single target in Week 10's comeback win over the Jaguars despite being on the field for 53% of the offensive snaps. He got back involved in Sunday's win, however, catching at least three passes for the third time in his last four games. Hutchinson does not have a lofty ceiling with his role in the Texans' offense, but he has some definite value in deeper fantasy leagues.

Hutchinson has now hauled in at least three passes in three of the Texans' last four games. Over that span, he has found the end zone three times while averaging over 4.5 targets and 32 yards per game. Hutchinson has some fantasy value as WR depth, but he is tough to depend on week-to-week in the Texans' passing game.

Hutchinson has remained involved all season, continuing to develop as he enters Year 3 in the NFL. He had a two-TD game against Baltimore but has had low volume outside of his 10 targets in the last two weeks.

Xavier Hutchinson caught one of his four targets for 13 yards in Monday's 27-19 loss to the Seahawks. He led all Houston wide receivers with 59 snaps, in large part due to Nico Collins (concussion) exiting the game early.

Fantasy Impact

As has been the case all year, Hutchinson's high snap count did not translate to meaningful fantasy production. He ranks second on the team's wideouts in playing time this season but has seen a meager 18 targets over six games. His lack of involvement in the passing game makes him irrelevant for fantasy purposes.
