Xazavian Valladay

The New York Jets are signing RB Xazavian Valladay to their practice squad.

Fantasy Impact

Valladay spent training camp in Pittsburgh before being waived by the Steelers. The undrafted free agent will likely remain on the practice squad for the season considering the depth the Jets have at running back on their roster.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, undrafted RB Xazavian Valladay is signing a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fantasy Impact

Valladay was initially signed by the Houston Texans but was recently waived and cleared waivers. The Steelers are opting to bring in the Pac-12's rushing touchdown leader from 2022. Between his time at Wyoming and Arizona State, Valladay had three seasons of 1,200-plus scrimmage yards in his five-year college career. He can provide another camp/practice squad body for the Steelers who could try to compete with Anthony McFarland Jr. for RB3 snaps.
