This is a sign that Carson Palmer (concussion) may not play Thursday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Bears claimed QB Zac Dysert off waivers from Denver on Tuesday and released UDFA Shane Carden. The third-year Miami (Ohio) product was stuck behind Peyton Manning and riser Brock Osweiler the past two seasons.
Fantasy Impact
He completed 2-5 pass attempts for 45 yards this preseason. Clearly former Denver brass John Fox and Adam Gase, who are now current Bears coaches like what they see in Dysert. Dysert will have no problem beating out David Fales for the No. 3 spot and could be the No. 2 to open the year with Jimmy Clausen (concussion) in league protocal.
