Week 3 Outlook
Zach Miller saw two targets on Sunday, before leaving the game was what appeared to be a serious leg injury.
Miller hurt his leg on a very impressive catch for a touchdown that was later overturned. The Bears have not released any information on the injury yet, however it looked like a serious injury that will probably keep him out for the season. It is just another receiving option to add to the injury report for the Bears. We will see if this injury opens up an opportunity for rookie Adam Shaheen.
Zach Miller caught a touchdown pass against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but he may have broken his leg in the process, according to multiple reports.
Miller made a nice catch heading toward the corner of the end zone on a beautifully thrown touch pass from rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, but he appeared to injure his leg and was in immediate pain following the sliding catch. The initial reports suggest it could be a broken leg, which would likely end his season, but nothing is official at this time.
Zach Miller had two receptions for 29 yards on three targets against the Panthers.
There was not much offense from Chicago on Sunday, but Miller did see three targets from Trubisky, who only threw the ball seven times total. As long as the Bears continue to limit the passing attempts, Miller should continue to be left on the waiver wire.
Zach Miller had two receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens.
Miller scored his touchdown on a trick play, but besides that he fell a victim to the conservative offensive game plan that the Bears executed. He was limited to three targets, and only two of them were from Trubisky. Miller can be useful in fantasy, but only when the Bears are playing from behind.
Zach Miller caught three passes on seven targets, for 39 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings.
Miller led the Bears in targets on Monday with seven. While he only caught three of those seven balls, he was able to turn one of them into a lucky tipped ball touchdown. If Mitchell Trubisky continues to pepper Miller with targets going forward, Miller will become a decent floor option at the TE position for fantasy purposes.
