Davante Adams Fantasy Football Outlook (2026)

By Derek Brown (FantasyPros), Wed, Aug 5th 2026, 8:33pm EDT

Davante Adams was a fantasy monster before succumbing to a hamstring injury in Week 15 that forced him to miss the rest of the regular season. In Weeks 1-14, Adams (among 86 qualifying receivers per Fantasy Points Data) was 16th in target share (23.8%), 26th in receiving yards per game (55.2), 18th in yards per route run (2.02), 23rd in first-read share (27%), and fifth in first downs per route run (0.132). He was scoring touchdowns at an insane clip with 14 in those 13 games while leading all receivers with 30 red zone targets (the closest receiver to him during that span had 19). During those 13 games, Adams was the WR8 in fantasy points per game. I don't expect him to repeat that insane fantasy production in 2026 as his touchdown scoring is likely to see some small bit of regression. Adams didn't show any falloff in his separation skills, ranking first in separation score and route win rate among 109 qualifying receivers last year. Adams should be considered a solid WR2 with some upside if the Rams offense can continue to cook in 2026 as it did in 2025.
