Rashee Rice Week 3 Outlook - Chiefs at Dolphins

By Derek Brown (FantasyPros), Thu, Sep 24th 2026, 1:35pm EDT

Rashee Rice's fantasy value is hanging on by a delicate string. Through two games, he is the WR29 in fantasy points per game, but without a score in Week 1, he would be struggling, and the fantasy community would be collectively freaking out. Rice's stranglehold on targets in the Kansas City offense has evaporated. He has a 9.5% target share... yes, you read that correctly. Rice also has only 1.62 YPRR, a 13.7% first-read share, and two red zone targets. Rice has a nice matchup this week, but he's only a flex play with the concerning usage. Miami has allowed the 14th-most yards per target and the seventh-most fantasy points per target to slot receivers.
