Justin Herbert Week 5 Outlook - Broncos at Chargers

Even though I had my offseason doubts about the Chargers offense, I don't even think in my wildest dreams I thought it would be this bad. Trevor Penning has a concussion. Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater are injured and unlikely to play this week. Justin Herbert is the QB30 in fantasy points per game and doesn't have a game this season with more than 14.3 fantasy points. I don't know if this is rock bottom for the Bolts, but it has to be close right? Among 29 qualifying passers, Herbert has the 12th-fewest yards per attempt, the fifth-lowest passing success rate, the third-highest turnover-worthy throw rate, and the fifth-fewest fantasy points per dropback. The Broncos will be without Patrick Surtain this week, which will help Herbert's cause, but I still don't have much faith in Herbert and this offense to get on track in Week 5. Denver has allowed the fifth-lowest passer rating, the sixth-lowest CPOE, and they have the tenth-best pressure rate. Good luck, Mr. Herbert.
